How It All Began

Having been interested in starting our own home based Internet business was always a curiosity of ours. The only problem was we never owned a computer and never the less, knew how to operate one. So here's what happened. After nine years at job I didn't care for, I was laid off in February 09. I had mixed emotions, that is no more work that sent me to weekly chiropractor sessions and just average pay but it was a weekly paycheck. The global recession was in full swing and to find another job would be difficult. So know what? Buy our first computer, Yeah..first ,in January 09.
Not knowing anything about computers, my wife, Isabel and I would get on it everyday and hit any button and link, sometimes getting completely lost and confused. But after two months we were getting pretty good. So now it was time to get down to business. With Isabel still working, I had a lot of time on my hands. I was starting to run out of projects to do around the house.
So remember about that starting our own Internet business thing I mentioned earlier? Well that's what we did, but first we had to learn how to do it. After searching and reviewing on how to start, we found a great company to teach us. With there expert advise, and patients we were on our way.Since Isabel took a home correspondence on Interior Decorating and becoming a Certified Interior Decorator, we found our niche for our website topic. After a few short months of weekly phone sessions with our instructor and intense but enjoyable research and dedicated work on our part, our website was ready to go! Just remember, that if you are confused or find yourself saying "now what" take a chance and try something challenging but very rewarding.
